BENEFITS OF WORKING AT LARC:

PART-TIME & FULL-TIME: Full-time and part-time positions are currently available. However, most jobs are part-time.

FLEXIBLE HOURS: Hours may vary based on your availability and the needs of the individuals receiving support. Most of our shifts are evenings and weekends. There are also overnight shifts in our group homes. Occasionally, daytime shifts and full-time work become available.

WORK IN INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP SETTINGS: You will be offered assignments based on your skills and interests, and the needs of participants. Many of our group settings are smaller, with a lower client-to-staff ratio.

FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHAT YOU DO: Our DSPs love to see our participants flourish by developing new skills, socializing, and gaining independence. They feel a sense of personal and professional fulfillment.

GAIN VALUABLE EXPERIENCE: Working as a DSP can prepare you for a career in social service, case management, and the medical profession. There may also be opportunities for advancement at LARC.

PAID ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: LARC provides paid on-the-job training in CPR, and First Aid, plus a state-approved curriculum for Direct Support Professionals including two weeks of classroom training and 80 hours of on-the-job training and coaching. LARC is committed to developing its employees through ongoing training, support systems, and coaching.

PAID TIME OFF AND HEALTH INSURANCE: Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off and a host of employer-sponsored health insurance options.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (Day Programs) (FT):
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to assist in maximizing the person's strengths, interests, and abilities. DSPs provide support and supervision in a group setting that includes daily living supports, community activities, and enrichment activities with a person-centered approach. The Community Day Service program is actively seeking people-oriented, energetic candidates to join our team. Full-time openings and various shifts are available.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (Residential Programs) (FT & PT):
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to assist in maximizing the person’s strengths, interests, and abilities. DSPs provide support and supervision in a group setting that includes daily living supports and community activities with a person-centered approach. LARC’s Residential Program is actively seeking people-oriented, energetic candidates to join our team. Full-time and Part-time positions are available; shifts are primarily afternoons, midnights, and weekends. LARC strives to provide employees with a schedule that will promote work-life balance.
